Adriatic coast, Puglia — shot on film
01 Opening
Shot on film,
no plan

Shot on film, somewhere on the Adriatic coast. One roll, one afternoon, no plan. That's how most of this trip went.

02 Rome
The city that
doesn't rush

Rome is the only city where you can sit by a lake, watch people row past a Greek temple, and think — yeah, this is normal. I didn't do the tourist thing. I just walked, got lost, found a coffee, walked some more. That's enough.

Ridiculous,
in the best way

I ate a Marinara pizza straight from the box at the harbour. Four euros. Best thing I had in Italy. The whole island was ridiculous — in the best way. Buildings stacked up a cliff, flowers everywhere, the sea going on forever.

Chaotic,
completely alive

Palermo hits different. Laundry hanging between yellow buildings, a palm tree in front of a baroque palace, the whole city slightly chaotic and completely alive. I loved it immediately.

White houses,
edge of a cliff

Polignano a Mare — white houses on the edge of a cliff, a beach hidden below between rocks. I stood there for a long time. Sometimes a place just stops you.
