The art of
slowing down
slowing down
I arrived with a full backpack and no real plan. Paris doesn't welcome you — it just ignores you until you figure out how it works. And once you do, you love it. The man reading barefoot in the Luxembourg gardens didn't look up when I walked past. That quiet confidence. That's France.
"The best travel isn't about covering ground — it's about letting a place slow you down until you actually see it."

Bouillon Chartier — I walked in for the interior and ended up eating the best steak of my life. Four euro red wine. The waiter wrote the bill directly on the tablecloth. The Modigliani — I stood in front of it longer than I'd like to admit. And Monet's house in Giverny. That old wardrobe mirror. I saw myself in it, camera around my neck, surrounded by rooms untouched by time.
